What do you do when you don’t know what to do?
Sit in the sun, watch the birds and butterflies in my backyard, and think.
What would you do if you had the whole day to yourself?
Get up slowly, have coffee, go for a walk, work on my travel blog Journeys With Sonia, read a book, watch a movie.
What is the best thing about being a woman?
Knowing how to be a leader and doing it with empathy, inner strength and kindness.
What is the one piece of clothing you can’t live without?
My Alembika, of course. All of it!
What did you do or do for work?
My specialty is Sleep Medicine. I spent 40 years studying sleep in older adults, including in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, and sleep, fatigue and circadian rhythms in cancer. My goal has always been to improve people’s quality of life.
