It’s December in NYC! That means cold weather. This same forecast rings true for places across the North, from the snow in Massachusetts to the deep freeze in Chicago and other parts of the Midwest. This time of year many northerners escape; “snowbirds,” I have heard them called. It reminds me (and continues to fascinate me) as to how large this country is, how many varying climates there are.
