What do you do when you don’t know what to do?
I water our flowers in the garden and think about who I should ask for advice. Usually it’s my husband!
What would you do if you had the whole day for yourself?
I would have a Spa Day and pamper myself with a Stone Massage and a Mani/Pedi
What is the best thing about being a woman?
Looking in the mirror at any age and weight, with or without makeup and liking my reflection! I’m soon to be 74 and I love getting dressed up and enjoying life as me!
What is the one piece of clothing you cannot live without?
Should I dare say Punto Pants? Ok… Punto Pants it is!
What did you do or do for work?
Before doing what I’ve been doing for the past 48 years, one of my best jobs was being a Cigarette Girl at the famous Gaslight Club! That’s right… I would enter a room with my box of tobacco swung around my shoulders and say “Cigars, Cigarettes”!
That’s where I met my best friend and beautiful husband. I’m still self employed with my husband but no longer a Cigarette Girl! The name of our company is Industrial Handling Equipment Co. Inc. We are distributors of Material Handling Equipment such as Pallet Racking, Shelving, Conveyors, Mezzanines and much much more!

How does one become an Alembika woman? About 75% of my wardrobe bears your logo. For years I purchased your line from a lovely boutique in San Francisco called UKO. Sadly they closed during the pandemic and I was bereft. Fortunately I later discovered your online store. I am a retired Nurse-midwife who delivered over 3000 babies in NYC, but I now live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I still travel the world although I am 86 years old. I hope to visit #100-103 countries in September. My dear husband died 12 years ago, but for the past 4 years I have been in a new relationship with a significantly younger, beautiful man. That, plus travel, my love and support of Jazz, reading, cooking and enjoying great food and wine seems to have kept me younger than my years so far. Do I sound like an Alembika woman?
