Yael was kind enough to let me come to the showroom to try on a few pieces I was interested in. Sometimes, what you think you want and what works are different things. And then I saw this dress hanging by itself on a rack – I swear it whispered for me to come over. The moment I tried it on, I lit up. A kind of goth/babydoll with stomper boots look and I felt like I was alive (but faithful to myself) as I turned 67 last fall! I love clothing – but have enjoyed not being a slave to it as I get older. I’m choosing what makes me happy. Somehow, this dress found my essence. Youthful in spirit, mischievous but feet firmly on the ground – even if the calendar says something else.
Eileen Richter, #alembikawomen wearing Alembika’s Urban Graphite Dress in Black

Most recently, Eileen sent us a photo of the one dressy outfit she brought on her trip to Dublin. It’s Guest Designer Ozai N Ku Moldova Midi Dress in the pattern, Foam.
She paired it with her own cardigan and her trademark goth-style stomper boots. Thanks for packing us on your trip and being an #alembikawoman Eileen!
