Fatima Fidan, our Director of Sales, answers the 5 questions for #Alembikawomen…

What do (did) you do for work?

I am the Head of our Sales Department at Roni Rabl / Alembika. A job I have loved for 12 years!

What do you do when you don’t know what to do?

I try to silence my thoughts and listen to my gut. It tends to be quieter but also tends to be right.

What woman from history (alive or dead) would you love to have dinner with and why?

Anne Boleyn. She wasn’t born to royalty yet became a queen and one of the most influential women in history. She literally played a part in changing the language of Catholicism from Latin to English and went on to give birth to Elizabeth the I. I would like to ask her how, in a world run by men and corruption she stood her ground to make changes that still affect us today.

What piece of wisdom would you like to pass along to younger women?

You don’t know everything and that’s okay, you shouldn’t. None of us do so listen more than you speak… it will make you wiser than the constant talker. And also, don’t be so judgy of the generation before you, the next will do the same to you.

What would you do if you had the whole day for yourself?

I would go for a long run and then get a nice massage to work out those sore muscles.

What do you love most about being a woman?

Being able to create a life. To literally grow a human inside you. It creates a very unique bond with your child. One I never take for granted.

What is the one piece of clothing you cannot live without?

I mean really….Iconic Jeans! To say I simply “like” the Iconic Jeans is an understatement. I live in them literally around the world! 🙂
