YAEL’S PICK: MUST-HAVE BOUCLE LONG JACKET, an absolutely fabulous, open-front style with big patch pockets, in a patchwork of rich, colorful hues with neutral stripes for fun contrast. It’s a statement piece for sure, and one your wardrobe will appreciate for its cozy nature as well as its versatility—toss it over jeans and a tee or rock it at a formal event! ALIN’S PICK: OZAI N KU 2-WAY BOUCLE JACKET, another texture-rich bouclé beauty in a vibrant golden hue that looks great with Alin’s beautiful red hair. This perky, pure cotton piece in a slightly cropped silhouette drapes to perfection and is perfect for ensuring a sunny Autumn glow wherever you go. Alin is our head of marketing, chief scheduler, passionate “ideas person” and bourbon aficionado—with seemingly endless energy.
FATIMA’S PICK: OZAI N KU HAPPINESS COAT. It’s a head-turner, for sure, in deep red with a bold black graphic, and great on Fatima with her supermodel stature. That said, I love this happy piece, too, and had to try it on. It works just as well on my 5’3″ frame—the hem just hits at mid-calf instead of the knee. Fatima is Alembika’s national sales director, savvy merchandiser, multitasker extraordinaire and much needed in-house stand-up comic (doesn’t every office need one?!).
JOCELYN’S PICK (that’s me): CHALK STRIPE SHIRT JACKET. I like to “borrow from the boys” and never met a pinstripe I didn’t like. This versatile topper serves as a lightweight jacket or cozy shirt and, like all Alembika, is destined for luxe layering. I also appreciate its universal appeal—my 20-something nieces love it, too. I write and edit copy and content + curate the images you see throughout the collections. After working from home for over a decade, I love meeting my small but mighty team in the Alembika showroom, where we not only work hard, but have fun trying on samples—and sharing life, love, vino and impressive charcuterie boards.
