I went with my husband for an MRI last week and a follow up meeting with his doctor. Hospitals and MRI’s are places that bring the anxiety levels up. It starts with the night before, the narratives we build in our heads, the different results and scenarios and we tend to choose the worst ones.
We woke up early and I decided that dressing up will be the right thing to do.
Dressing up for our day. Showing up at my best for my husband and for the place.
It helped in shaping up the day. My attitude was positive. I felt beautiful and strong for him, for me.
How do you deal with those feelings before a scary test?

For our next “Wish You Were Here” adventure, we’re heading to Boston’s Back Bay, where leafy streets, brownstones, galleries, restaurants, and one of the city’s most fashionable shopping destinations set the scene for an urban getaway.
At Alembika, fall is about so much more than trends. Every collection begins with a deep understanding of how women truly live—traveling, working, gathering with friends, and embracing this beautiful chapter of life with confidence and authenticity.
The Alembika Fall 2026 Collection celebrates everything we love about autumn dressing: sumptuous textures, artistic patterns, elevated comfort, and clothing designed to move seamlessly through every part of your day.
