Why does pouring a drink and clinking glasses feel so wonderful when you do it with good friends, co-workers or family? From the sound of the bubbles to the pitch-perfect chime of the glasses hitting, it’s as fun as making a wish.

I think you are making a wish when you toast with people you love. You are wishing them good health, continued success, happiness and all the good things in life.

One of my favorite drinks is Aperol Spritz, it’s light and summery. I also love a non-alcoholic club soda with lime and fresh mint. The scent, the taste and the enjoyment of a nice drink alongside a person or people who have mutual love and respect for one another is really one of the greatest gifts in life.
