In dark times, when I can’t find words, and it’s hard to find that quiet place we all have inside us, I go back to the book When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodron which helps me reset and connect to the compassionate me and the human being I want to be.

These dark days teach me to stay connected to what’s important, to not avoid the deep sorrow I feel and not to be afraid to be vocal.
