Yael Edelist I met Roberta in 2021 when Alembika.com launched, during the COVID years. Roberta is a petite customer who always searches for unique items that fit her body. And like all of us, she has a story.
Roberta had a massive stroke that left her paralyzed for a long time. She had to relearn how to speak and walk and take care of herself. It was long and painful.
Roberta was always slim and fit. She used to wear tight jeans and sexy tops that she can no longer use. She kept telling me that Alembika helped her recovery.
In a note she sent me last week she said: “Since my stroke, I really joined the sisterhood of becoming a goddess of my own body, with your help.”
Roberta taught me about resiliency and the power of will and faith. Her passion for life, the arts and fashion are inspiring. The way clothes were part of her healing made me so proud and happy to be part of our group of women. Thank you for sharing your stories and remind us we are not alone.
