I always find it a bit intimidating to write about myself, my story is simple and probably the same as most of us all.
In my early twenties, after my graduation in communication in Milan, I embarked on what I thought was going to be a short life experience in London. I have been living there for over 15 years, as the city has given me the opportunity to create my career in the clothing business following my passion for textiles, colours, and design.
I still remember how difficult it was at the beginning to express my creative ideas as the knowledge of the language and the culture was a bit odd. I‘m still grateful for all the people that I have met that have given me the opportunity to learn and work alongside their side.
For over a decade, I have been the bridge between two worlds, constantly liaising with Italian factories. My Italian roots remain an integral part of my identity, still influencing my design aesthetics and commitment to quality craftsmanship. These connections have become the backbone of my journey, shaping my understanding of the industry and the importance of collaborations.
As per today, I’m remaining an eternal optimist, finding joy in the creative process, cherishing my business relationships, and savouring the beauty of every fabric and colour that graces my designs. My story is one of love for clothing, dedication to my roots, and an unwavering commitment to the art of creation.
6 years ago, I started a thrilling venture, forming a deep familial bond with one of the Italian manufacturers I have been working with. The relationship, forged over 15 years, is a testament to loyalty, trust, and shared passion. Together, we have created Blueberry – blending my creative ideas with the manufacturer’s expertise.
