Our commitment to affordability is unwavering, ensuring that our collections remain accessible to all who appreciate the fusion of natural materials, comfort, and style. We mainly rely on an handful of companies that produce Blueberry Italia, all based in Tuscany between the outskirts of Florence, Prato & Pistoia.

It is in this textile district, a center of excellence for Italian craftsmanship, that we manufacture our garments. The proximity of the supply chain allows us to reduce transportation distances compared to delocalized production and to monitor the quality of our products more closely.

For so-called cut-and-sew fabrics, the initial cutting phase is carried out by our main manufacturing company.

We then rely on external sewers for the sewing phase.

All these are independent freelancers, meaning each of them represents a sole proprietorship.

Meet Gaya, President of Blueberry Italia

I always find it a bit intimidating to write about myself, my story is simple and probably the same as most of us all.

In my early twenties, after my graduation in communication in Milan, I embarked on what I thought was going to be a short life experience in London. I have been living there for over 15 years, as the city has given me the opportunity to create my career in the clothing business following my passion for textiles, colours, and design.

For over a decade, I have been the bridge between two worlds, constantly liaising with Italian factories. My Italian roots remain an integral part of my identity, still influencing my design aesthetics and commitment to quality craftsmanship. These connections have become the backbone of my journey, shaping my understanding of the industry and the importance of collaborations. 

As per today, I’m remaining an eternal optimist, finding joy in the creative process, cherishing my business relationships, and savouring the beauty of every fabric and colour that graces my designs. My story is one of love for clothing, dedication to my roots, and an unwavering commitment to the art of creation.

6 years ago, I started a thrilling venture, forming a deep familial bond with one of the Italian manufacturers I have been working with. The relationship, forged over 15 years, is a testament to loyalty, trust, and shared passion. Together, we have created Blueberry – blending my creative ideas with the manufacturer’s expertise.
