WHAT IS THE DISC PERSONALITY TEST?

The DISC personality test is a widely used behavioral assessment tool designed to analyze and categorize individuals based on their preferred ways of interacting with the world and others. The acronym “DISC” represents four primary personality styles:

  • Influential (I)
  • Steady (S)

When faced with stress, I-style individuals might become more talkative or seek external validation to cope with their emotions. They may also become impulsive or overly optimistic about finding solutions. They are motivated by Social recognition, group activities and friendly relationships. Steady personalities are warm, patient, and reliable. They value stability, cooperation, and harmony. Conscientious individuals are analytical, detail-oriented, and methodical. They strive for accuracy and precision in their work and decision-making. When confronted with stress, C-style personalities may become overly cautious, anxious, or excessively focused on potential risks or mistakes.
