What do you do for work?
I’m a marketing copywriter and branding consultant.
What do you do when you don’t know what to do?
A wise woman named Oprah Winfrey once said, “when you don’t know what to do, be still.” Well, that may have been traced back to another great philosopher but in listening to her Super Soul Sunday podcast, I heard her say it exactly when I needed to hear it. I’ve learned that when I’m nervous, if I am still (whether it’s meditating or going for a quiet walk), all of the answers are within me and whatever I need help with resolves itself.
What would you do if you had the whole day for yourself?
One of my favorite things to do alone is go to a Japanese restaurant and enjoy a meal slowly and quietly. I also love to experience, what I call, Luxurious Sunday Vibes. It means doing something like lying outside listening to birds, smelling the grass and just thinking and imagining uninterrupted.
What do you love most about being a woman?
I love unhooking my bra at the end of a satisfying day of work and I also love being the mother of two magical human beings.
What is the one piece of clothing you cannot live without?
Finding Alembika was love at first sight. My favorite piece so far is the AYLA STRIPE COCOON DRESS. It’s so comfortable and makes me feel happy. I’m going to wear it to my son’s high school graduation this month!
