About #AlembikaWomen

Meet Leslie #alembikawomen

We welcome Leslie Stone to the #Alembikawomen family, here are her answers to our 5 questions…

What do you do for work?

I’m a retired banker.  I worked in the Human Resources and Training  and Development field for the majority of my career.  I loved it, especially training employees.  I helped open two different banks in South Florida,  which was very fulfilling.

What do you do when you don’t know what to do?

When I don’t know what to do, I organize.  I go through file drawers to declutter; or I rearrange tchotchkes; or I organize the linen closet, things like that. A little activity to bring me back into focus.

What would you do if you had the whole day for yourself?

I’d listen to my favorite music, spend some time at the condo pool, order take-out for dinner, and then start binge-watching one of the streaming TV shows that friends have recommended to me but I never seem to get to.  And eat a Rocky Road ice cream cone.  Yum!

What do you love most about being a woman?

The best thing about being a woman is, for me, sensitivity and tenderness and being able to nurture and care for others.  And fashion!

What is the one piece of clothing you cannot live without?

The one piece of clothing I cannot live without is (are) dresses.  Sundresses, long or short or midi.  Soft, silky dresses.  It’s my wardrobe staple, as I live in South Florida.
