Welcome Linda Settler to our #Alembikawomen family. Here are her answers to our 5 questions…

What do you do (or did you do) for work?
I’m almost 78 and I still work. After several past careers, since moving to Michigan, I started a new career in selling decorative plumbing for new homes and people remodeling. This job keeps me young, and my mind alert because it is so detail oriented. And I LOVE IT!
What do you do when you don’t know what to do?
Seriously I always have something to do, Needlepoint, reading, watching mindless TV, etc.
What would you do if you had the whole day for yourself?
Manicure/ Pedicure, roaming around the city streets and browsing boutiques.
What do you love most about being a woman?
The best thing about being a woman is having lots of girlfriends and hanging out with them.
What is the one piece of clothing you cannot live without?
And no one can live without a pair of black pants!
I turned 75 today and i have been thinking about my first real galleries art show that just went up this week! Am i spinning my wheels- did i get too late a start?! But your optimism has me going to sleep in a good, positive mood! So thank you- tomorrow is my “artist talk” at the gallery and I feel like i can walk in with a bounce in my step, ready for the next challenge. Too late? Poo!
