A tip for being older – keep laughing, educating yourself, and respecting one another’s differences rather than making it a call to battle. We all have a story, a history, a desire to be heard. Be gentle and loving – and be silly for no reason. Keep meeting new people. Hug a puppy, skritch a kitty, stroke a horse’s forehead. And, if you’re really fortunate, you’ll find the right someone to share it all with. We have – for 44 years and still counting
