This is how we learn from and support one another. Will you share your story?
I wrote and published a “fiction” book about growing up in the 60s and 70s in San Francisco. Flower Power. It’s called “The Invited Guest” by Nancy J Ballard.

Name one thing you love most about being a woman?
Being socially acceptable to be warm, cozy, loving, and crazy about my grandkids.

What moment or event made you think life would never be the same?
Being nine months sober. Changed my life.

What do you do when you don’t know what to do?
Botanical doodles, write, cry, pray.

What would you do if you had the whole day to yourself?
I do… whatever I want! I’m happier than ever. Getting old is under-rated.

What is your favorite piece of clothing and why?
This new dress. It’s cute, but not too “kittenish.” Perfect for my body and size, and it brings joy to my mood and attitude. Second best, overalls. I wear them every day to many compliments from ladies my own age.
