Did you always want to be a retailer?
Self-taught in sewing and design, Betsy’s interest in clothing began at age 10 while living in SanFrancisco and by age 18 Betsy was back in New England designing and selling her creations from home.
What would you do in your next life?

What are your Top 5 “must carry” travel items?
Black jeans, black T shirts, black boots, black sneakers & a multi colored jacket.
What’s your favorite season and go-to wardrobe for that season?
Fall and Betsy’s go-to wardrobe is the aforementioned travel staples as well as a good black dress.
What is your favorite style or item in Alembika/ Ozai N Ku and what makes you love the brand?
The great black dresses, drawstring pants (jeans) and the colorful jackets. I love the brand because it is easy to wear, dramatic, fits lots of bodies and is always FUN! Betsy’s customers LOVE Alembika & Ozai!!!
