I moved to the US from Israel when I was 24. For many years, travel meant taking my kids to visit Israel to see family. We would go twice a year and that covered the budget for travel. It was when the kids left for college that I started to crave seeing the world.

I am a homebody. I love short trips; 4 days to a week. I love cities where I can walk everywhere, try the local food and meet people.

I travel very light. Only a small carry-on suitcase. One Punto, one Iconic jean, one button-down shirt and I am all set.

How do you travel? Long or short? Nature or cities? What do you wear?

Happy Tuesday,

Yael

  1. I recently traveled internationally for work and my luggage was lost. I truly panicked. I had a full roster of seriously important meetings ahead, and I was relying on clothes in that bag that I knew would be nearly impossible to replace with anything remotely similar where I was. As I thought about the suitcase contents I realized that most of my favorite pieces were Alembika. I love how well and compactly they travel, how flattering they are to my body, and how I can dress them up or down with amazing versatility.
I was so grateful when my bag was recovered and I was reunited with my things. I realized even more how much I value your designs, quality, and fit once I faced the rest of the meetings that week feeling comfortable in what I wore. Thank you Alembika!
