We welcome Lauren Azoulai to the #Alembikawomen family, here are her answers to our 5 questions…

What do (did) you do for work?
When I lived in Israel, I was a social worker in a rural community. In the U.S., I worked nearly my entire career in Jewish communal organizations, including financial resource development and community planning. I worked for ten years for Hadassah, the largest Jewish women’s organization in the U.S., and 17 years in Jewish Federations. And now I am an active community volunteer.
What do you do when you don’t know what to do?
The problem is I ALWAYS have something to do! If nothing else is pressing, I will take a walk and catch up with a friend or relative by phone.
What would you do if you had the whole day for yourself?
If it is not raining, I would pack a picnic and go to the beach, preferably with someone special.
What do you love most about being a woman?
Having choices! Lifestyle choices, family choices, career choices. And personal style choices!
What is the one piece of clothing you cannot live without?
That is a no-brainer! Black leggings, of course. Usually long ones but some can hit above the ankle.
