Originally from Cleveland, Renee has been a Washington, DC resident for almost 40 years. She is now blissfully retired from her career as a business and personal coach. She still loves coaching and, for several years, has coached care partners and loved ones of those with dementia through a program she developed and offered through Jewish Family Service. Renee says, “Like so many, I am more engaged now than I was when I was working!”

Name one thing you love most about being a woman?
Being able to embrace many things at the same time (may not be gender specific).

What moment or event made you think life would never be the same?
September 11, 2001.

What do you do when you don’t know what to do?
Dialog with God (my journals are titled, God Talks).

What would you do if you had the whole day to yourself?
Spend it in the African bush on safari watching the animals and birds.

What is your favorite piece of clothing and why?
A 30-year-old XXL T-shirt from Howard University, where I consulted for 4 years. Comfy, huge, don’t need to think how I look.
