I have a lot of cancer in my family, from both my father’s and mother’s sides. My sister and I always say, we will get it, we just hope to catch it on time. And since I was young, I always felt that if I had breast cancer and a full mastectomy, I would go flat.
And then I met Tina, a two-time breast cancer survivor who made the decision to have a double mastectomy. (DMX) who feels beautiful and free in her flat chest and shaved head. Click to read her story and her #AlembikaWomen spotlight this week. Isn’t she beautiful?
It is a very personal decision and no one way is the right way. It is what we each feel is right for us.
What would you do?
Happy Tuesday,
Yael
