A friend asked me yesterday what I do with feelings of rage. “It is a tough one,” I said.
If I am aware of those feelings, I can pause and let them be without being reactive, and connect to my breath to calm down. Sometimes I miss that moment of noticing and pausing, and that rage takes over. I always regret my reactive self.
All Tai Chi masters keep telling us that softness will always overcome hardness. When I feel soft, I am kinder and more accepting.
What do you do when you feel rage?
