October is breast cancer awareness month.

I don’t think there is one family who doesn’t have a member who has or had breast cancer.

I lost my aunt who was a second mom to me at 44. My sister adopted her 12 year old daughter. We all have a story. I find it so important to share. We learn from each other’s experiences, we get medical tips and we know we are not alone.

We will share 6 stories this month of 6 wonderful Alembika Women who shared their breast cancer stories with us. You can read about Alin, Andrea, Janet, Lauren, Reena and Tina in Alembika Magazine’s About #AlembikaWomen blog each week and in our private Facebook Group.

Thank you all for this wise and connected community.

Happy Tuesday,

Yael Edelist,
President, Alembika USA

  1. I am so touched by your focus on breast cancer. I’m a two time survivor but also I went through it with a dear friend at the same time. She lost the fight so I feel so determined to live my best life for the both of us. This is how I honor her friendship. And now Alembika recognizes how breast cancer touches almost everyone. This is yet another reason I consider Alembika a collection of woman rooting for each other and not just another cold company out for profit only. I’m sending you all my hugs
