Yael Edelist On my recent trip to Italy, we met Father Marco, who lives in one of the Franciscan monasteries we visited. He joined our group for the day. He had that natural smile on his face all the time.
He was wise and open, with so much humor and very easy to talk to. Father Marco knows he is a gift to the world as a human being but he also knows that he is as important as any worm on this planet. It touched me deeply.
I am a gift, I am a worm. How can I work with this? Do you feel you are a gift? Can we have the ego of a worm?
